Client Reveal: Vintage Meets Modern

A few months back I shared this Vintage meets Modern Mood Board I did for one of my clients.  Well she has been hard at work replicating this feel & turning their living room into a chic & layered space… and I kinda want to move in. They had all the basics already: the sectional, a few pillows, media console, but it was missing something.  Working together to determine their style, we created this layered space that allows for entertaining, toddler play & football viewing!  I also wanted to pay tribute to their home’s gorgeous architectural elements.
Take the tour!
While I don’t normally share sources/products that I select for my clients (because that is what they are paying me for)  I do have to brag on two of my favorite additions to the space. The original room had zero over head lighting, so by installing this large multi arm chandelier from Ballard Designs in the barrel ceiling we were able to spread the light throughout the room.  Game changer!  Also, as most of the occasional tables & other items are actually vintage finds, the Society Social Bar Cart fit in seamlessly with the design.  It’s vintage glam feel still has a modern air about it that was the perfect little filler for the space next to the fireplace.
Big thanks to my amazing client!!  And my other client for taking these amazing pictures!!  You might remember that chic little nursery I designed earlier this year… well these two happen to be BFF’s.  And if I ever make it to their town, we are all going shopping.  We are bound to get in trouble… in a good way.
