Stella & Dot Inspired: January

This month Stella & Dot Independent Stylist Kristen Fine shared with me a few of her favorite picks from Stella & Dot's latest collection.  I took the elements of these amazing accessories & turned that inspiration into a chic little bar area.

I was inspired by the coloration of the Fiona Bib Necklace as well as the organic shapes.  I brought this element into the space using the Gold Lamp.  The shapes brought in the design of this lamp help to soften the bulk of the trunk.

The delicate Eden Studs are brought into the space with the nailhead detail on the trunk.  They also help add a little sparkle, just like the earrings.

The chunkyness (yes, that is a word...) of the Bello Bangle is incorporated by the vintage trunk.  Rather than placing the trunk directly on the ground, adding some simple wooden legs elevated it to the correct height & gives new life to an unexpected piece of storage.  Adding a simple wooden tray to stock the bar & backing the grouping with a clean mirror adds the extra sparkle that any good piece of jewelry does.

(While this trunk was a vintage item, Pottery Barn has a similar feel in one of their new end tables... fyi)

Be sure to head over & check out all the offerings for Valentines over at Stella & Dot, because really... who wouldn't like some jewelry?!?  Also, Kristen is always offering some great deals & promotions on her FB page.

Happy Monday!
