It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Christmas decorating has officially begun!  Always wanting to do something new, I was inspired this year by the colors from our Darjeeling Prints by Cozamia that hang in the living room.  The bright pinks & oranges were a welcome addition to our holiday decorations that were feeling a little stale... Does anyone else get bored with the same decorations year after year?!?

Darjeeling

I also need to introduce you to Moe, our Pot Head.  Yes, you read that right!  My father brought him over for some extra greenery during the Magazine Shoot & was nice enough to let him stay.  Since it has gotten too chilly for Moe & his flapjack hat to be outside, he came inside for the winter.

To have Moe participate in all the festivities, I simply slid a pre-lit wreath around his neck & added a few baubles.  I even added one of my new 88 cents Anthro Inspired feather balls.  I LOVE these things!

I added ornaments on top of our existing candlesticks & filled a clear vase with some Epsom Salt Snow.  The nailhead ball I created a few weeks ago fits right in to this years Holiday decor too.

One of the easiest decorating tips I have for you this season is to take some coordinating ribbon to your holiday decor & simply tie it around an existing throw pillow.  It's such an easy & unexpected way to add another holiday touch to your space.

I'll be sharing more of our decorations throughout the next few weeks.  Have you started decorating yet?!?

  7. Gorgeous! I love the ribbon wrapped pillow idea! I set up our Christmas tree last weekend but that's when we realized that we donated our lights last year because we thought our tree was pre-lit. Needless to say, our tree has been up sans lights/ornaments for a week since we've been too lazy to run to the store haha

  9. I love the idea of tying some ribbon around a throw pillow -- I would have never thought to do that, but you're right -- instant Holiday cheer and easy peasy! Mr. Moe is lookin' mighty fine with that head of hair, by the way! ;-) Looking forward to seeing more of your Christmas decor!
