Accessorizing for a Client
Busy day here… but wanted to share a little client project I have been working on. This is one of a few rooms we are working on together, but for the most part my clients had great bones in each room. Nice wall colors, great furniture basics (dining table, sofas, etc…) basically, I was brought in to help style & finesse each of the spaces through the use of accessories, lighting & a few new furniture additions.
One of my favorite spaces so far has been the dining room. They already had a gorgeous wood trestle table & two head chairs, so we decided to mix up the seating a bit & add 3 Louis style chairs on one side & a long tufted leather bench on the other. This mixture of seating creates a more collected look vs. the I went out & purchased a set look (which I have in my own home & modified).
They also had a beautiful chandelier, it was just a little under scaled. The new fixture is much larger & definitely a statement piece in the room. I just saw some preview pics after they installed it… & it is absolutely perfect!
I also think every space needs a little green… this room was screaming for a Fiddle Leaf Fig. Luckily, my client thought so too!
Hopefully I can convince my lovely clients to share After photos of their space once it is complete! It is going to be a beauty!

That chandelier is pretty cool. Are those wooden beads?
Gorgeous! I love that tufted bench and have been eyeing a similar set of those Louis chairs in peacock blue!
I just posted about my dining room progress, and I have the same RH chairs. I love them!

I think I also need to add a little green, and am looking for a console table. Thank for the inspiration!
Beautiful! Would you mind sharing where the console table is from? Thanks
Fabulous inspiration – that chandelier is amazing. I just love your blog, and your home! Seriously, you have so much talent! I am going to be tackling an upholstered headboard after we get a new bed, and might be hitting you up with questions!
