Oh Oscar

I rarely post about fashion, but this dress from Oscar de la Renta 2013 will be the exception!  This dress sums up my interior design style in one gorgeous package.  Classic & modern.  Glamorous & easy.  Form & function (seriously whoever started the pocket trend was a genius!) & hello... Black & white stripes!!!!   If I could, I would put stripes on everything.  I take major interior influences from the fashion world & this will be a great inspiration moving forward.

Happy Friday Hunters!

  2. Pockets in dresses = Isaac Mizrahi ... I'm not certain he's the first designed ever to do this but for the past 20 years he always has pockets in this dresses from his couture line, to when his label was in Tar'jay, to his current line on QVC. I've had several cocktail and dinner dresses from Isaac over the years and those pockets have been wonderful :) I love how the stripe fabric on that dress also create a chevron, so much more interesting than straight lines and the flair of the chevron makes bell of the skirt even more glorious, and the waistline slimming. Great design.
