Get This Look: Trellis Office

Have you ever been looking through a magazine, book or Pinterest, saw a room & said "I WANT THAT!"  Well, I have done exactly that... This is my version of The High Low Project.

It all started here... drool worthy.

My version... Still drool worthy!
{ clockwise: Trellis Allover Stencil, BEHR Swiss Coffee,  Ralph Lauren's Lattice Red, Pesach Table Lamp, Premiere Prints Twirly American Fabric,  Botanical Print, Butterfly Print,  Gold Accent Mirror, IKEA Leksvik Desk, Foo Dog Bookends. Rustoleum High Gloss Enamel,  Bamboo Wingback (Set of 2), Duralee Suzani Ikat,  Domino: The Book of Decorating, Faux Silk Lined Drapery Panels }
  • Walls: The inspiration rooms wallcovering is Imperial Trellis by Kelly Wearstler & it is $$$.  Using the Trellis Stencil from Cutting Edge Design will give you the same effect at a fraction of the cost.
  • Chair: The chair was the splurge in this room.  Plus I could only find it in a set!  But considering the savings made throughout the rest of the room this chair becomes an investment piece.  A little spray paint & you'll have that High Gloss look.  The seat (from what I could tell) appears to be a Suzani Print.  Some of you may consider this a pricey fabric... but you'll only need a yard.
  • Desk: Unfortunately, you can't tell much from the inspiration image, but a simple desk with clean lines is all this room needs.  Add a glass top if you want to add a level of sophistication.
  • Lamp: Ceramic Urn lamps are everywhere... I'm sure a better deal could be found at Homegoods, especially since you only need 1 lamp.  Always remember if you find the right shape lamp in the wrong color you can always spray paint it.  My solution for the patterned lampshade was to find a similar fabric and mount it to the shade using a spray fabric adhesive.
  • Art & Accessories: Etsy is such a great source for prints, vintage frames & accessories.  For an eclectic collection be sure to check out antique stores & even consignment shops for artwork & frames.  Remember if the price is right you can always switch out either for an upgrade.
Cheers- K
