Antiqued Afternoon

Today was fantastic.  My friend, myself & our strollers headed out to the Marietta Square.  We were both on the hunt for some chandeliers & wanted to check out the Antique Stores.  While neither of us left with light fixtures, we did hunt down some fantastic finds at Dupre's Antique Market.

*Excuse the photo quality... taken with the iPhone.

These beautiful ceramic urns were 20"-30" in white & black.  These would look so chic on a mantle.

Check out this Greek key table... $69!!!!!!!! Too bad I don't have room for yet another table.

This beauty is potentially going over my friends tub.  Glamorous.

In LOVE with this fixture.  It's unique, gorgeous, huge... & a great price @ $300.  If only my house was larger...Sigh.

There was a pair of these stunning corbels.  A little pricey... but so pretty.  These could be great accessorizing a bookcase.  I will be keeping my eye out for some of these in the future.

These grey end tables would look amazing in a guest room.  Perfect condition.  Perfect color. Perfect price.  $129 for the pair.

Gasp.  Look at this lovely piece of work.  Unfortunately, I would again need a larger home to accommodate this beauty.  But WOW... A girl could dream right?

I love hunting through places like this.  The inventory is constantly changing.  You never know what treasure you will uncover.  BTW... At places like this feel free to ask if they can do better on the prices.  This store had "firm" written next to the prices on some items, but not all.

Now we are back home & I am conducting an experiment... Our bedroom redo keeps throwing me curveballs.  I'll share my results, good or bad, in the next few posts.

Cheers- K
